This bus was turned from low and slow to go anywhere campervan. Inspired by the swamper movement, Martin Sanders (our very own head honcho) turned what was a sad-looking 1998 day-van into an awesome off-grid camper ?
When a neighbour put this LWB 2.4d T4 van up for sale, Martin knew that this was the beginning of an exciting story. However, what Martin didn’t expect or foresee was that this van with mild suffice issues ? would involve a restoration project that would last over several months ? and include the replacement of nearly every body panel.
This cool bus is now donning gleaming white paintwork, black Duchy Banded Wheels, off-road Toyo tyres, black nudge bars and new tinted glass giving real road presence. The interior follows a similar theme with astroturf flooring, white units and matching cab and window van-x curtains. This rugged, back to basics T4 is the perfect camper to enjoy many on and off-road adventures.
