Starting life as a postal service vehicle travelling the sun basked streets of Barcelona ☀️ this 1982 T25/T3 has an interesting history.
Owner Mike acquired his bus in 2011 for the grand sum of fifteen hundred euros. Having an original 1.6 diesel (CS) engine with the 4-speed gearbox, Mike knew that he was going to need to change thing up to accommodate a more leisurely ride. So he dropped in a healthy 1.9 diesel (1Y) engine with the longest 5-speed gearbox he found which would fit this model.
To make life a little more comfortable, Mike also installed central locking, electric windows, power steering and rear disc brakes, stabilizer bar matched with some cool looking 16” Mercedes wheels.
Having all the robust mechanics in place meant that Mike could now enjoy his adventure for which he installed stationary heating, triple battery, 150W solar panel all finished in his handmade furniture. We feel that the Holdsworth Villa roof purchased in Malaga from donor van really tops this bus off making for a perfect go-anywhere camper 🏕
Mike is a super T25 fan having enjoyed many hours working on his bus, he says;
I love the world t25. It’s the van of my life
