This classic T25/T3 😍 transporter started life in public service, initially built for the German Army with the only luxury being a diesel air heater 🥶
The current owners turned this basic bulli into a go-anywhere camper, the owner writes;
My 1989 T3 8 seater had a 1.7 diesel engine, we bought the van in 2008, convert it into a campervan and put the roof on it. There was a lot of work on this bus, including the paint and some rust. After the conversion to campervan, we put a 1.9 Turbodiesel engine from a VW Golf (aaz) and upgraded the suspension to H&R green (55-60 mm lowering) with shortened Konis, and 16-inch rims… We have driven the bus to the North Cape, to the south of Portugal, to the Black Sea in Rumania and the very south of Greece. We have visited almost every country in Europe except Serbia, Estland, Lettland and Latvia.
The owners are now planning to tour the Baltic Sea, Britain and Ireland in 2021. This custom camper has been built to enjoy many adventures.
