Bertie The Beetle

This is Bertie, my 1972 1300cc Bug. He is a very modest but charming beetle and he’s kept plodding along for 48 years before arriving into my ownership.

There are no modifications to Bertie and everything is all original which is one of his best qualities. The previous owner, unfortunately, rear-ended another car with Bertie so he had a dent in the bonnet before I sourced the orange one that he’s suiting currently but everyone I’ve met and myself thinks he looks rather smart.

Perfectly imperfect shall we say. The 1300cc twin port engine runs like a dream and has no signs of letting up anytime soon. He’s full of character and stories that make him the car he is today and we all love him for it.
