It’s brown – just like everything was in the seventies! The colour was chosen by the previous owner who thought their wheelie bin was a cool colour (and I think they were right). A local body shop said it was the same brown as parcel tape so the name has stuck much to everyone’s amusement.
The engine is a stock 1600 with twin Weber 34 ICT carbs to give it a bit of poke. Interior wise it has Ford Capri front seats which are super comfortable and trimmed in burgundy along with matching headliner/door cards etc. I’ve gone for slot mag wheels – the ultimate seventies wheel – with raised white letter tyres on the rear to give it the classic seventies look for a 1970 bug and there you go!
