When we saw images of this custom Baja bug 😍 owned by Ashlynn and Spencer it generated much interest!
We are always stoked to see awesome dubs 👍 However, this Baja bug is something we rarely see here in Europe, so this unique and individual vehicle sparked excitement. We have published the owners’ story below;
Well, I knew I wanted a Baja bug ever since I was in high school. I had taken an auto class for a couple of years and was starting to think about what I wanted for my first car. One day, the auto class computer was open to a craigslist page with Baja bugs on it. I was instantly hooked! So a few years later, when I had saved up my money from working two full-time jobs, I started hunting for one. We were looking for something that would be a daily driver in the near future. We also knew that super beetles didn’t make good Baja bugs. But apparently, we didn’t stop to find out what a super beetle looked like 🤷♀️ When we got her home and realized our mistake; we knew we had to make a choice… sell her, or try to make it work. I said HELL NO I am not selling my very first car just like that! So we decided to keep her and love her. After taking a few years of our abuse and countless fun adventures, we made a YouTube channel to showcase our myth-busting super beetle Baja bug.
